Deathwing is drawn and colored in with gouache paint, this was my first time using gouache paint for a project. It was a good learning experience

The outcome could have been much better and less cluttered, but with practice I'll get better with this medium

Very nice in the way you kept the colours from running together, considering the relative similarity of the palette. Perhaps you could have gone with a darker background though to add emphasis to Deathwing, as that explosion over his head is somewhat distracting and maybe could have been better if kept black. Aside from that great job, particularly on the crystallized look on the wings.

I did rush the background because of the short time frame I had. I might go over it again with a darker background like you mentioned
